October 1- The new plan is to run a different service than before:
a commuter service between Olympia and Seattle.
We're hoping to have this service up and operational by the beginning of November. Check back for updates! Click here to take our poll.

July Update- Unfortunately, we're on the verge of suspending operation for lack of funds. Read the update to see how to help.

June Update- Read about our current operations, cool new happenings, and new press coverage.

April 21/22- Earth Day Shuttles
On April 21 we got to help out by shuttling people from People's Co-op on SE 21st and Brooklyn St. to the Earth Day event at Woodlawn Park, over by NE 13th and Dekum. We also tabled at the event.
On April 22 we helped shuttle for Synergy, an annual sustainable living conference at The Evergreen State College in Olympia.

March 2- New Logo!
We have decided to change our logo to reflect our customer base. Because we allow pets onboard (unlike Amtrak or Greyhound), we have built up some staunch supporters who appreciate that we offer that service. At the moment our offerings to people in wheelchairs is limited, because our standard vehicle is unequipped with a wheelchair lift, which means that a person who needs a wheelchair lift *must* make a reservation.

February 19- Shared Route Rallies
Hi friends, sorry for those (including us) who were scared by the prospect of our shutting down operation. We've got the funds that we need to continue on for the next while. Offers to help distribute flyers will be accepted wholeheartedly!

February 1- RoundTrip Portland-Seattle Fare
In an effort to beat Greyhound's price on every leg, we are offering a special round-trip fare from Portland to Seattle of $50.
That's right! Just $50! Portland to Seattle and Back! Or Seattle to Portland and Back! Woohoo!
Pay cash on the bus just like normal, and you'll get a ticket good for return travel. You will still need to make a reservation to hold a spot for yourself.

January 23- Holidays Too!
We're going to run the bus on weekends, *plus* any nationally observed holidays, since they are often times that people want to travel. The next one is President's Day.

January 10, 2007- We're Running a New Vehicle!
We have decided to run our newer and smaller vehicle, The Wolf. It was just painted, and is a lot quieter and can sustain higher speeds than The Exodus could.

December 26- We Accept Pets
We accept pets onboard so long as no one has already made a reservation who cannot ride with pets.
There is a $5 pet fee.

December 25- New Reservation System
We have a cool new Reservations system.

December 15- BikePortland Link
BikePortland.org threw in a little something about us. Thanks y'all!

December 11-
We have started accepted reservations via email: rez(at)sharedroute.org

November 30-
We got press! Raymond Rendleman wrote a nice article about us in the Willamette Week.

November 25, 2006-
We acquired a new vehicle, a bit smaller, it's called The Wolf. Drives real nice. Unfortunately, no wheelchair lift.
