Shared Route Update: July 2007

It's been a fun trip with y'all. We've had plenty of Shared Route
developments lately, including bringing in new drivers (Yeah Ben
"Sauce" and Sihonn!), and we've been changing around our
behind-the-scenes folks lately to give Sauce and Uly a bigger hand in
running things.

The unfortunate situation is that, doing our best, we didn't get
Shared Route on the road to "sustainability" (ie profitability)
quickly enough, and it looks like we'll be having to shut down in the
next few weeks.

Right in the middle of converting our main vehicle to run on Veggie
Oil, we got blindsided by an unexpected expense which has drained our
bank account to nil.

What we need in order to keep Shared Route on its wheels is about
$5000. Between the veggie oil conversion and the fresh energy being
brought in, this should be all it takes for Shared Route to begin to
soar. If you know of anyone who would consider investing in our

Otherwise, we'll be suspending service in the next couple of weeks,
